PVC Pipe Baffle 4-in x 5-ft 220 Schedule 40 PVC Pipe.  The PVC Pipe will act as the main squirrel baffle. Install the pre-drilled PVC Caps on each end of the pipe and slide the assembly over the Black Iron Pipe support. The bottom end cap of the baffle will rest on the ground. There should be about 6 inches of Black Iron Pipe showing above the top PVC Pipe Cap. You can paint the PVC Pipe Baffle and PVC Caps before or after installation. Use acetone or alcohol to clean prior to painting. This will also help remove any printed markings on the pipe and caps.

Feed birds - not squirrels.
Acorn.png
Squirrels are fearless acrobats that will launch themselves from overhanging limbs, wires and rooftops. They can cover distances of (10) feet or greater when jumping from these structures. Squirrels can leap (5) feet vertically and can bound over (7) feet when on the run. Mount feeders so that the bottom-most portion is at least (5) feet from the ground. Trees, fences and other structures should be (10) feet or more from the feeder, prune back branches and heavy brush if close. Smaller shrubs should be at least (5) feet from the base.
